Welcome to  Foresters Holiday Cottage, as the name suggests we are situated in a clearing on the edge of over 2000 acres of forestry land known as Bentley Wood & the outskirts of the pleasant village of Farley near Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Bentley Wood & Blackmoor Copse Nature Reserve offer lovely walks in the forest and are the habitat of a rare type of butterfly. Our location is such that all this is quite literally on your door step.

Farley offers a local pub for bar meals with  a further choice of eating out at Pitton, The Winterslows,  West Tytherley or a much wider choice found in Salisbury.

The nearest local stores are at Pitton or Middle Winterslow, handy for daily provisions.

Ideally located self-catering accommodation for

Salisbury City & Cathedral,The Plain, Stonehenge, Winchester and Fordingbridge.

Excellent for walking & wildlife, villages nearby.

There is also easy access for days out to Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole, Dorset Beaches and the New Forest.

A36 3 miles,Salisbury 4 miles, A303 15 miles,  Winchester 22miles, M3  29  miles,  Southampton 27 miles, Bournemouth 27 miles.

Local train station  West Dean  (3 miles)

goes to Salisbury & West Country or Southampton.  

Stonehenge is  a leisurely 40 minute drive - distance 16 miles .
